Description of business
On the basis of harmonized communication between the members and for the purpose of overall improvement and development of copper & copper alloy fabricating industry in Japan, JCBA is engaged in the following activities through various committees.
- Collecting and analyzing various data on production, shipping, and inventory volume of copper & copper alloy fabricating products
- Forecasting short/medium/long-term demand on copper & copper alloy fabricating products
- Conducting material trend survey
- Management analysis of copper & copper alloy fabricating industry
- Prevention of industrial accidents
- Revision/amendment/formulation of the JIS/ISO standards related to copper & copper alloy fabricating products
- Holding of seminar of Japan Research Institute for Advanced Copper-Base material and technologies and basic technical courses on copper & copper alloy fabricating technology
- Promotion of environmental protection and energy conservation
- Promotion of rationalized/efficient distribution
- Support for the activities of the Japan Institute of Copper
